On this page, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions our couples have regarding wedding and event planning at Addison Woods. It is our hope that by reviewing our policies and procedures, as well as what to expect, it will help you host a seamless and fabulous event with us.

WHAT IS YOUR MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS YOU CAN ACCOMMODATE?
The Reception Barn and the Oaks Ceremony Lawn at Addison Woods can accommodate up to 220 guests. Laura May Chapel can accommodate up to 200 guests with additional standing room in the back.
HOW LONG IS OUR RENTAL PERIOD?
You will have full and exclusive access to the property from 10am - 12am. Additional hours may be purchased for a fee.
DO YOU OFFER ALL INCLUSIVE WEDDING PACKAGES?
Yes! We offer two approaches to all-inclusive wedding packages that can be booked with the team at Addison Woods: the first is a core package which includes the allows for flexibility when it comes to picking your catering and excludes photography, videography, and bar selections; the second is a true all-inclusive package which has everything from wedding coordination to wedding photography and everything in between. ARE PETS ALLOWED AT ADDISON WOODS?
Absolutely, we love furry friends! Please ensure this is previously arranged with venue management and that you have signed the pet addendum.
IS A WEDDING COORDINATOR REQUIRED?
Since we are the venue, we focus exclusively on executing this portion of your wedding. We therefore require clients to hire a professional coordinator - whether it be full, partial, or day of services. Our venue coordinator will be present the day of to work in tandem with your wedding coordinator to produce a spectacular day.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON OUTSIDE VENDORS?
While Addison Woods provides a list of preferred vendors, you are able to select the vendors that best fit your vision. Each vendor must be approved with a minimum of 60 days in advance. All vendors, including catering, must be licensed and insured.
WHAT IS YOUR ALCOHOL POLICY?
Cooper's Cocktails is Addison Woods' in house bar company who can help to create the any bar menu to fit your vision and budget. A security officer is required for all events serving alcohol, no matter the size. Security is arranged on your behalf by Addison Woods.
IS SECURITY REQUIRED AND WHAT IS THE COST?
Security is required for every event over 100 guests or serving alcohol, starting from the open of the bar and ending once all guests have left the property. This is arranged on your behalf and you will pay for the security officers in advance, $50/hour per officer. We work with Montgomery County PD, who requires two officers at all times.
IS THERE A "PLAN B" OPTION IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
Our Venue is perfectly designed so that you do not have to worry about the weather on your big day. We have various spaces to hold both indoor and outdoor events. This includes an indoor chapel, an outdoor ceremony lawn, an indoor reception barn, a covered veranda, and an outdoor cocktail lawn. These spaces can be used interchangeably to your desire.
